Marcus Evans Private Wealth Management Summit Unites Decision Makers and Solution Providers
Fort Worth, Texas, September 9, 2019 – Michelle Connell, CFA, President and Owner of Portia Capital Management, LLC has been invited to serve as chair of the premium Marcus Evans Private Wealth Management Summit in Orlando, December 2-4, 2019.
The Marcus Evans Summit brings together leaders from America’s top single and multi-family offices and services providers. An invitation-only event, the Summit provides an intimate format for service providers and executives from leading single and multi-family offices to discuss key new drivers shaping the future of the industry.
“In the midst of uncertain economic and political times, wealth managers are carefully analyzing domestic and global investment opportunities,” says the event website. “Keeping abreast of geopolitical risks and non correlated asset classes are pertinent in this dynamic environment.”
During the three-day event, strategists, thought leaders and trend setters deliver visionary keynote presentations, real-life case studies and interactive sessions. The December 2019 event features an array of speakers and presenters, including David P. Kelley, Chief Global Strategist and Head of the Global Market Insights Strategy Team at J.P. Morgan. The Summit also provides attendees numerous networking opportunities and delegates and providers may set up one-on-one business meetings and discuss business objectives face-to-face in a relaxed atmosphere.
“I am humbled to have been invited to serve as chairperson for this international private wealth summit,” says Ms. Connell. “It is truly an honor to succeed such reputable previous chairpeople, including most recently, Todd Benjamin, former financial editor and current independent analyst for CNN.”
Ms. Connell is the only female Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) to own a registered investment management firm in North Texas. The CFA designation is considered the highest designation in the investment management profession, and fewer than three percent of all CFAs in Texas are women. In addition to running her firm, Portia-Capital Management, Ms. Connell serves as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas, instructing CFA candidates through the CFA DFW Society.
For her clients—including the underserved markets charities, foundations and high-net worth women—Ms. Connell crafts personalized solutions that include conventional products as well as rare access to alternative assets, including private equity, private debt and real estate, and allows investment portfolio creation with greater downside protection and more consistent returns.
